To Swap Users

AssetWise CONNECT Edition allows you to select an existing user or skill group in a responsibility matrix, and replace it with a different user or skillgroup. You can also reassign any or all relationships for users and skill groups.

Follow these steps to swap a user or skill group in AssetWise CONNECT Edition.

  1. Open the responsibility matrix for which you want to reassign a user or skill group.
  2. From the Object menu, select Swap user.
    The Swap User dialog appears. For example,
  3. Enter the Existing Person or Skill, to be replaced.
  4. Enter the Replacement Person or Skill, that will replace the existing user/skill group.
  5. Select each applicable relationship (Information only, Reviewer, Consolidator, and Approver), that you want to assign to the replacement user/skill group.
  6. When you are finished, click Swap user.
The responsibility matrix is updated with the new user/skill group assignments.
